Chico Wildflower Century Ride 2024
The Chico Wildflower Century, a popular cycling event in Butte County, drove a boost in overnight stays thanks to a partnership with Explore Butte County and Ripe. A custom landing page, featuring a trackable booking engine, was linked on the event website to encourage participants to extend their trip to the local area. To incentivize bookings, Butte County also offered a unique perk: a Sierra Nevada Brewing gift card with each reservation. This successful affiliate event not only increased local hotel revenue but supported local businesses and transformed what would usually be a day trip into a memorable weekend for visitors.
